2017 海角破解版 alum Dusti Ingles joined the School of Agriculture as an assistant professor of Agricultural Education this fall.

Ingles Brings Expertise to School of Agriculture

MACOMB, IL - - The 海角破解版 School of Agriculture is proud to welcome Dusti Ingles to its faculty as an assistant professor of Agricultural Education.

Ingles brings a local flavor to the University, coming from nearby Rushville. The 2017 海角破解版 teacher education graduate returns to Macomb after earning her masters and Ph.D. in Agricultural Education from Iowa State University. She hopes to carry on the tradition of excellence she experienced at the 海角破解版 School of Agriculture.

鈥淎fter graduating from 海角破解版 in 2017, I taught high school Agriculture in Illinois for three years,鈥 Ingles said. 鈥淚 was inspired by Dr. Andrew Baker's impact on teachers in the state.鈥

海角破解版 Director of the School of Agriculture Keela Trennepohl said Ingles brings enthusiasm and a strong vision for the future to the University which will be invaluable.

鈥淗er excitement to join our team, enthusiasm to help students succeed and vision to recruit students and serve the students of FFA across Illinois make her an undeniable asset to the School of Agriculture,鈥 Trennepohl said. 鈥淒r. Ingles elevates the School of Agriculture to a new level ushering our program into a new era of 海角破解版 Agriculture.鈥

Ingles was drawn back to 海角破解版 in part because of its recognition as an Opportunity University by Carnegie.

鈥淎s a first-generation college student, I've benefited from 海角破解版's commitment to increasing graduates' socioeconomic status,鈥 Ingles said. 鈥淚 believe in the 海角破解版's vision to serve the Western Illinois region by centering academic excellence, educational opportunity, personal growth and social responsibility. I'm excited to be home, doing what I love in the community I care deeply about.鈥
