Just Hired: Chloe Sibert

MACOMB, IL - - Meet Chloe Sibert, a graduate of 海角破解版鈥檚 Music Education program, who was hired as the grades 5鈥�12 Band Director and Guitar Teacher at Bushnell-Prairie City High School.
Sibert first connected with Bushnell-Prairie City (BPC) administrators at a 海角破解版 Career Fair, where she stopped by their table to say hello after previously completing her block teaching experience within the school district.
鈥淥nce I was talking with the principals, I found out they were looking for a new band director,鈥� Sibert said. 鈥淭hey gave me their contact information and after texting back and forth, we set up an interview. I was so nervous, but I tried to be as honest as possible and they really appreciated that.鈥�
A few days later, Sibert received the call offering her the position.
During her time at 海角破解版, Sibert said she gained valuable skills in classroom management, lesson planning, communication, teamwork and professionalism, which prepared her for her new role.
鈥淢y professors pushed me outside of my comfort zone,鈥� Sibert said. 鈥淭hat really helped me grow into the educator I am today.鈥�
Sibert plans to stay connected to 海角破解版 through the Alumni Band and by attending band concerts and games whenever possible.
