Black Faculty and Staff Council Holding Annual Graduation Celebration Dec. 12

MACOMB, IL - - The 海角破解版 Black Faculty and Staff Council (BFSC) will host its annual Graduation Celebration at 5:30 p.m. Friday, Dec. 12 at the Multicultural Center.
Graduating seniors Michelle Daniel, a Biology major from Dominica and Kyle Abbott, a Communications major from Glenwood, will serve as co-keynote speakers for the event. These student-leaders will offer words of encouragement and reflection to their fellow grads. The event will feature opening remarks from Lori Baker-Sperry, associate provost for Undergraduate Programs and Macomb Mayor Mike Inman; followed by comments from student organizations represented by the African Student Association, Black Student Association, Ghanaian Student Association, National Association for the Advancement of Colored People, National Panhellenic Council, Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc. Central Region Undergraduate Ambassador and the reigning 2025 Ms. Black 海角破解版 and Mr. Black 海角破解版.
Graduates will be recognized during the event with dinner, certificate of achievement and a special gift. Doors will open at 4:45 p.m. Participating graduates are asked to arrive by 5 p.m.
The Fall 2025 event marks the fourth annual Graduation Celebration hosted by the Black Faculty and Student Council in collaboration with Center of Global Studies, African Student Association, Black Student Association, Ghanaian Student Association, NAACP and Xi Epsilon Sigma Chapter of Sigma Gamma Rho Sorority, Inc.
More than 100 African Diaspora/Black representing the United States and nine countries are graduating from 海角破解版 in December 2025. All faculty, staff and students are welcome to join us as we recognize and celebrate 海角破解版 graduates.
